Worship Service Resumption

When the Corona Virus Pandemic first began, it was prudent that we suspend corporate worship services, even though the state of PA allows religious institutions an exemption from all regulations regarding it. Sufficient time has passed that we now believe we can, with reasonable safety, resume corporate worship which we will do beginning with the morning worship service on Sunday, May 17th. The following guidelines will be in place:

If you have not exhibited any signs of possessing the virus so that you are confident that you are virus-free, you may attend the worship service. If you have any suspicion of being sick with anything, you must remain at home.
We strongly urge the following:
Immediately upon entering the building, that you wash your hands or use an antibacterial wipe or lotion.
Families should sit together and limit the degree of social interaction/contact. Do not be offended if someone does not want to shake your hand in fellowship.
While face masks will not be required, (but may be worn if you prefer) if you should cough or sneeze, immediately wash your hands or use an antibacterial wipe or lotion.
If you are not comfortable being in public at this time, please do not feel that it is necessary to come to the service or that it is unspiritual to stay at home. These are difficult decisions to make and no one should be criticized who thoughtfully decides their course of action.
When not at the worship service, please continue to abide by the governments prescribed measures to limit the risk of contracting the virus. Your ability to remain virus-free affects our ability to meet together for worship.
We will on a week-to-week basis, examine our effectiveness in providing an environment that is virus-free in order to worship. Should conditions improve, we will then begin to conduct the rest of our services (Sunday School, Wednesday Prayer Meeting, Youth Activities, Nursery services and Junior Church).
